Renowned Macedonian Guitarist Vlatko Stefanovski Holds Concert in Washington

Macedonian guitar virtuoso Vlatko Stefanovski held Tuesday a concert in Washington's Greenberg Theater, which was organized by the Defense Ministry in light of the American national holiday Thanksgiving.

"The concert is a way of expressing our gratitude to the United States for its support since Macedonia's independence", Defense Minister Zoran Jolevski told the Macedonian Television.

According to him, the event aimed at promoting Macedonian culture before representatives of the U.S. administration and the culture community in Washington.

The concert was attended by senators, congressmen, diplomats and NGO representatives.

Minister Jolevski was accompanied by Dr. Srgjan Kerim, Macedonia's candidate for the post-United Nations Secretary General, who extended condolences to French citizens over the Paris terror attack.
