Hollywood Producers seek Filming Locations in Macedonia

Oscar-winning movie producer Timothy Marlowe is in Macedonia, to discuss the potential for filming Hollywood movies here.

Marlowe will hold a joint press conference with the Agency for Tourism Promotion and Support and with representatives of the Macedonian investment promotion, to talk about the potential cooperation with the HMB-Hollywood Media Bridge production company.

 This company does business with major Hollywood studios like Warner Bros, MGM, Paramount, Universal Studios, Sony Pictures, and also works with TV channels, such as Fox, Reelz, SyFy and Lifetime. Marlowe himself was the executive producer on movies like Legend, Badge of Honor, The Lady in Number 6 (for which he won an Academy Award), The Cycle and Gignthropithicus.

The managers of the Agency for the Promotion and Support of Tourism, and the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones, Kristijan Dzmbazovski and Viktor Mizo, respectively, will join Marlowe at the press conference on Friday.

The Tourism Agency announced that it is organizing an informative visit for Marlowe, producer Phillip Goldfine, journalist and producer Pesy von Lipinski and cameraman Rob Haber, who will visit locations across Macedonia and examine the potential of its natural beauty. Von Lipinski will also prepare 15 short promo films for Macedonia which will be uploaded on YouTibe, in five languages.
