Macedonian Music To Be Presented Around the Globe

Numerous representations of institutions and individuals at festivals, manifestations and competitions abroad are some of the projects set to be supported by the Ministry of Culture in the frameworks of its annual program for the promotion of Macedonia's music and artists around the globe.
The Macedonian Opera and Ballet in September with the opera "Don Giovanni" will participate in the 16th International Festival of Music and Dance hosted by Bangkok.
The institution next month in Vienna will also perform the modern ballet "14 Hours" as part of the event "Days of Macedonian Culture in Austria", organized to mark the 20th anniversary of the diplomatic ties established between Macedonia and Austria.
The Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra in October is planned to hold a concert in Zagreb's Vatroslav Lisinski hall as part of one of the oldest and most prestigious music cycles in Croatia
"World of Music".
The Association of Composers of Macedonia in cooperation with the Faculty of Electro and Acoustic Music will hold a concert in the Dutch city of Hilversum and a concert of contemporary Macedonian music in Melbourne.
With support by the Culture Ministry, the Studio of Modern Dances "Break a Leg" in September will represent Macedonia at an international competition of modern dance in Germany.
