Four Macedonian Movies to Be Shown at Cultural Heritage Festival in Sofia


Four Macedonian movies are part of the official competition program at the 7. International Film Festival of Cultural Heritage, held in Sofia, May 12-18, organized by the Bulgarian Culture Ministry and the International Foundation "Professor Detev".

The Culture and Information Center of Macedonia in Sofia announced that today three Macedonian films will be presented by Vladimir Bocev, produced by the Museum of Macedonia. Vladimir Bocev is script writer, cinematographer and director of the "Fairy Water", "Dzolomari" and "It Won't Continue, No Way".


The Festival will see the documentary movie "Artifacts of Macedonian Archaeology", also produced by the Museum of Macedonia and written by Irena Kolistrkova-Nasteva.

The Festival’s program will be implemented in collaboration with the foreign embassies and cultural centers in the Bulgarian capital, including culture institutes from Italy, Hungary, Poland and the US Embassy to Sofia.

Macedonia's part of the Festival’s program will be presented by the Director of the Culture and Information Center of Macedonia in Sofia, Vasko Shutarev.

The cultural heritage film festival will run through May 18, with an official award-giving ceremony and certificates for the best film accomplishments.
