In Brazil, Russia, Norway, Romania, and Lithuania is published the Macedonian novel

The novel “Sigmund Freud’s Sister” by Goce Smilevski recently has been published in five countries: Brazil, Russia, Norway, Romania, and Lithuania.



Publishers of this novel are “Bertrand -record” from Rio de Janeiro, “Centrpoligraf” from Moscow, “Norsk Gildendal” from Oslo, “Polirom” from Bucharest and “Methodology” from Vilnius.

The novel “Sigmund Freud’s Sister” by Goce Smilevski in 2010 received the Award in Literature of the European Union and last year the Award for Mediterranean culture.

The novel is translated into more than thirty languages. In the United States it is published by “Penguin” from New York. It is published in France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Turkey, Holland, Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Croatia etc.
