Macedonia to take part at Cannes film market

Macedonia will take part at the Cannes film market, promoting film "The Third Half" by Darko Mitrevski at its stand on May 15-24.

The short film corner will include two documentaries - "Sound Seekers" by Suzana Dinevski, supported by the Film Fund, and independent film project "Doors" by Italian Michele de Angelis, shot in Bitola.

Film Fund director Darko Baseski said at Monday's press conference that a catalogue on Macedonia's film production 2012/2013 has been developed, as well as a brochure promoting Macedonia as a film shooting destination, developed by the Agency for Foreign Investments.

"The objective is to open the path to film festivals for movies and those nearing completion, as well as help those in preparation to find producers from other countries", said Baseski.
