36. Days of Macedonian Music - SOCOM to present traditional award

In the framework of the 36. Days of Macedonian Music, Composers' Association of Macedonia (SOCOM) will present Sunday its traditional awards.

Life achievement award "Trajko Prokopiev" is given to Gjorgji Gjorgjiev for outstanding achievements in the field of ethno-musicology.

"Pance Pesev" award for best premiere or released piece is presented to young author Aleksandar Pejovski for "OoPAaIHA".

Award "Georgi Bozikov" for best performance of a piece by a Macedonian author is given to pianist Ana Gaceva for "Variations for Piano: 15 Rudimentary Elements to Emblemish the Individual" by Michael Bakrnchev.

After the awarding ceremony, Nikola Kodzobasija and ensemble Penelope X will hold a concert "Stage Studies and Songs".

The 36. Days of Macedonian Music last until April 9.
