Macedonian electronic band "Bei The Fish" to hit Bulgarian club scene

Macedonian electro pop band Bei the Fish will have a concert at Sofia Live Club (at National Palace of Culture, NDK) on June 10 2011, at 10 pm.

Skopje-based Bei the Fish consists of Ognen Anastasovski on bass, guitar, vocal and keyboards; Valentina Minovska on keyboards, percussion and vocal; Nenad Tonkin on keyboards and programming; and Vladimir Nastevski on electric drums.

The band's music has been described as indietronica, a combination of indie and electronic sound. The musicians mix acoustic elements with Balkan music and pop.

Their first official album Look Up was released in February 2007 for E Go East Records, and was recognised as Album of the Year in Macedonia. The group has now five albums, the most popular of being Boat for Dolls (2010) and Time to Make Things Right (2009).

UK hip hop artist Hola Dios will join Bei the Fish in the band's debut performance in Bulgaria. Tickets are available online at for 10 leva, or 15 leva at the entrance before the concert.
