Skopje to Host 2nd Edition of Paratissima Art Festival in June

The Youth Cultural Center will be the host of the second edition of the international fair of contemporary art Paratissima Skopje on June 12-14.

Besides the artistic exhibits, the fair will feature all-day programs, concerts by local and international musicians, workshops, cooperation with academies and art organizations from Macedonia and abroad.

This year as well, Paratissima Skopje will award 10 most creative participants, and enable them to put their works at display at the art fair Paratissima in Torino on November 4-8, 2015. This year, the art fair will work together with Flux gallery from Skopje and elect two authors who will have the opportunity to set up their individual exhibitions in 2015.

The curator of Paratissime Skopje 2015 is nada Prlja, an artist with international success and former lecturer at several London universities. So far, authors from Denmark, the US, Italy, Russia, Montenegro, Croatia, the Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, Greece and Turkey have confirmed their participation.

Paratissima is an Italian international art fair dedicated to the support and promotion of art, culture and creative industries outside institutional frames, founded in 2004 in Turin, Italy.
