Nacoski's concert on 21st anniversary of Macedonia's independence

Macedonian tenor Blagoj Nacoski Sunday evening will hold a concert titled "If I had an eagle's wings..." in the Santi Apostoli church in Rome. Famous works by Macedonian composers Zivko Firfov, Trajko Prokopiev, Blagoj Canev, Sotir Golabovski, Aleksandar Dzambazov, Tomislav Zogravski, Darija Andonovska and Dimitrije Buzarovski. Piano maestro Alessandro D'Agostini will accompany Nacoski.

The concert in Rome will be exclusively dedicated to our composers, and the works I have selected represent top works of our most famous Macedonian poets - Koco Racin, Konstantin Miladinov, Blaze Koneski, Slavko Janevski, Aco Sopov..., Nacoski said in the written statement.

We artists that perform at world stages can help Macedonian composers to be ranked in the world music literature. I am doing my best so that my foreign colleagues start to perform our famous works, Nacoski said.

Ministry of Culture provides financial support for the concert in Rome, which is one of the projects that are of cultural interest for Macedonia in 2012. s
