Dance Fest Skopje 2015 Opens

The premiere of SMS (Soul, Mind and Something else..) play by Skopje's Dance Theatre will open this year Dance Fest on Tuesday. The play is choreographed and directed by artistic director of the festival Risima Risimkin, which will mark her 35 years of artistic activity. Duke Bojadziev is music author, Blagoj Micevski is costume designer while Matej Mijanovic is stage designer.

This year Dance Fest will be held in Skopje and Veles and will feature dance companies from Bulgaria, the Netherlands and China.

Dancelab - international competition for young dancers (solo) and choreographers including participants from Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, the US, Poland, Belgium, Turkey, UK and Macedonia, will he held at the stage of Veles National Theatre on April 15 and 16. The international jury will present Golden and Silver Butterfly awards to the best performers.

On April 18, the small stage of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet will feature guests from the Netherlands - New Dance Center The Hague and New Dance Studio of Amsterdam with the "open stage" programme.
