Smilevski quietly becomes Most Translated Author in 21st Century

Goce Smilevski's 'Freud's Sister' will be published in India, Lebanon and Ethiopia. In India it will be published in Malayalam language by “Mega Books” from Kerala, in Lebanon it will be published by “Ninanva” in Arabic language while publisher “Hohe” from Addis Ababa will publish the novel in Amharic.

Smilevski is author of several novels and theatre plays. His novel ‘Freud's Sister’ won the Mediterranean culture prize (2010) and the European Union Prize for Literature (2013).

‘Freud's Sister’ has been translated into 35 languages, Smilevski is quietly becoming the most translated author in the 21st century.
