Macedonia: Increased Number of Cinema Visitors

Cinemas across Macedonia, over the last year, were visited by 42.5% more visitors than the year before. The shown movies saw a 184.4% growth. 

According to data issued by the State Statistical Office, there are 12 cinemas in Macedonia with a total capacity of 5,973 seats, employing 98 people.

Most of the cinemas, or 4 in total, are located in Skopje, and there is one cinema in Ohrid, Struga, Prilep, Kochani, Sveti Nikole, Bitola, Kumanovo and Kriva Palanka.
